About Us
The Embry-Riddle Sailing Club is a student-run organization on the Daytona Beach campus. Our mission is to promote the sport of sailing through educational programs and by participating in regattas within the Intercollegiate Sailing Association (ICSA).

The sailing club has two divisions which are recreational sailing and the sailing team. Students who would like to learn how to sail can learn for free through our Learn to Sail & Open Sail program. Our sailing team practices and competes weekly. Sailing experience is not required for either division, however, students who choose to join the team are required to attend 2-3 Learn to Sails to bring them up to speed for our rigorous team practices.

Our sailing club and team have over 150 members learning to sail for fun and compete. Students who are a part of our club & team have created great friendships from different majors, graduation years and gain new opportunities within academics & sailing. We believe all students should try sailing once because of how unique the sport is.
